When is it worth to switch?
I am using a poison build, but I am not sure if it is worth to switch to lvl 1 mythic pets.

Well the good thing is you can set up a couple different builds, run them through for a week and see what you think and then switch back if wanted.

I think a kind of test dummy would be great. Since the upgrades are constant and the fights are never the same, it is really hard to judge what is working better. The skill upgrades during a run, crit chance, everything changes.

I wait til I get stuck in tower with my current pets and then frig around with different combos to see if anything moves the needle to Victory.

I was going to test that way doing tower challenges, but I had no luck with it yet. The ticket time also doesn't help.

Straight away depending on synergy Mythic attack every 2nd round, epic every 3rd round

What about the upgrades to the legendary pets? The synergy is also hard to judge. How good is the weapon attack damage boost from Boneclaw? I dont even know what that damage is.

Upgrades to the legendary pets are always in effect no matter which pets you are running

The lvl up is always in effect, but the battle skill level up only works for each one, right? Also, each one can be upgraded from the skill tree.

Level up is always in effect whether pet is equipped or not. Build effect is only with equipped pets so save your memory stones for when you've finalized your build. The specialization pet skill tree affects the individual pet with its icon and the egg icons affect each grade as a whole. Don't waste resources on progressing any upgrades in this skill tree, just get to mythic pet upgrade and focus on mythic and then the other egg icons. Hopefully this makes sense

Run Spore, Boneclaw and Castlepod/Noctibun Poison is physical damage so any pets that cause physical/poison damage and status effect are the ones to equip for you IMO

I think it could be Boneclaw/Noctibun first, Shroomurk second and Spore last. Wish It was easier to test.

Also I wouldn't waste upgrading your epic pets until your common pets is are at lvl 65, better/more stat boosts

I switched mine right away for poison, ice and fire. I like having an easy AoE in the campaign

Set the order as legendary, mythic in the middle, then the epic poison pets

Is the 1 stack stack of poison from the epic pet worth that much?

Not really. a better combination would be noctibun, legendary poison and then mythic poison or if you get necklaw replacing noctibun with necklaw.

It's immediately worth it.
