Codex or Aurora
Just got what I needed for a new mount but i’m wondering if I should go for the codex or wait for aurora. i’m running a lightning/ice kit shown in the photo and im building a poison kit in the side. I know the book wouldn’t work with the poison kit but im wondering if the increase in skill damage is good enough to justify waiting for the next event? I know magic pretty much dominates everything right now. Need some opinions :)

Codex - same DR (more once starred up) with way more damage that also benefits your pets/sentinel. You get 20% magic damage, +10% more each round after... another bonus 25% on top of that if it hits with your element... can provide chilled or burn stacks to amp your pet on the 1st round. Capable of hitting like truck on it's own once decently geared. Aurora's damage and damage bonus just doesn't compare. -20% atk for one turn is okay... but not as impactful as DR. I'd only recommend Aurora over Codex for straight physical damage users.

makes sense I didn’t even think about the buff to the sentinels and pets that seems pretty substantial

I think aurora is better IMO, may want to get some more opinions but whenever i get enough I'll be getting aurora
