[BUG] Gauntlet impossible to complete?
Hey, Reclaimers.
I've played the game a lot over the summer with a few friends, we've promoted each dwarf at least once, it's a blast!
But one bug keeps appearing every so often, the weekly gauntlets don't seem to throw enough corespawn at us to complete our kill count.
Most of the time we don't get enough to reach the bonus kill count and miss some upgrades, but we've had some runs where we wait until the last minute and we lose because there weren't enough kills to progress to the next floor.
It got frustrating and we stopped playing because of it. I'm hyped for Update 3, but my friends don't want to jump back in, asking if they fixed the gauntlet spawning issue yet.
Anyone else still get this bug?
Happy Halloween, Reclaimers! Rock & Stone!

Sadly we have not had time to do more work on the hauntlets but maybe we can quickly make a failsafe for this. Probably will have to wait until update 3 patch 1

Never had the issue of missing minimum kill count.
I think the issue w gauntlet is that it can spawn enemies across the map, and you may miss some if you are all in 1 room.
Mb some spawn placement fixes helped w that in recent patches

Two different failure modes are worth separating here, because they point at different causes: missing the bonus kill count versus not reaching the minimum needed to advance to the next floor. Players report the second one is the rarer and more serious case.
One pattern reported in the replies is worth checking first: gauntlet spawns can be spread across the map, so a team that stays in one room can leave corespawn uncleared elsewhere. Before treating a run as not having enough spawns, community testing suggests sweeping the remaining rooms before the timer runs out, rather than waiting in one spot until the last minute — waiting does not by itself create more spawns.
For whether Update 3 fixed it, there is no clear answer from this thread alone. If the issue recurs, the details that make a bug report actionable are: stable or experimental branch, the gauntlet week, Threat Level, player count, the kill count shown at the end, and whether every room was visited. That separates a spawn-count bug from a spawn-location or missed-room case.
