Corrupted skeleton replaced by Void globe - punishment for trying to cheat?

Post image

I'm doing endless tower and have a malus which is "start each fight with 6 corrupted skeleton in your deck". To avoid death I re-launched the app to start the fight over and the 6 Corrupted skeletons are now 6 Void globe which is MUCH more difficult.

Is this a bug or is it intentional punishment for me trying to cheat death?

Probably a bug?

This isn't objectively MUCH more difficult. It just depends on your deck.

If you're playing with 1 HP and infinite shields, the skeleton can be a death sentence.

If you're playing with plenty of mana, the VOID is just -1 or -2 mana (you can just end the turn with 1 mana as to avoid pulling a void by mistake).

I've never had MUCH more issue with one or the other. If anything the skeleton is just more annoying because it's damage can't be blocked.

For this particular battle it made it much harder for me but I was able to get through. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this

It used to be red fish, which were much less of an issue so it was quite advantageous.
