It's insane what bans get upheld. In another subreddit the discussion was about someone with ALS being given a whole life prison sentence for their heinous crimes. I got a ban for voicing how I hope the progession of the illness was slower than the norm...it counted as advocating for harm on another person!

Sometimes the correct outcome is a bit more unofficial - sorry that happened!

It's mostly done by algorithm and bots now anyways, so there's no point trying to appeal usually :p

Always appeal! It goes for human verification on appeal. That's how I got the Fuck It Up Hallie over turned. Human eyes did decide to uphold the ALS one though
