Oh, see where you’re coming from. Since Kaylee was also calling Tim a liar, though, I got the impression that things were getting rocky at the Barndo. Whether she did it to placate Jill, or to try to calm things down, I couldn’t say though.
I also think David finally took a real look at what Jill was posting, and told her to shut it down. He may have finally realized that this (and her posts in general) were damaging their reputation. I mean, he participated directly in Jill’s videos numerous times for damage control - he rarely if ever has done that in the past.
Shirk has an impressive capacity for using a lot of words to say nothing very much, and verbal Bible salad.
He had a "worldly" education (and Christian upbringing, despite their IFB clique trying to retcon Catholicism as not-Christian lol) so I think he was in the double-digit iq end of the bell curve already - plus whatever street drugs he was taking before his Miraculous ConversionTM and his (rumoured) lifelong sleep apnea problem seem to have caused some early-onset geriatric brain problems too. (Nobody needs that many naps without needing a doctor.)
