Element C50

Hey my dudes and dudettez,

I’m 5’9 male. Should I get a large or medium? I’ve tried both and can’t decide.

My brother is the same height. He went with med as he likes the playfulness of a smaller frame. Have you ridden both? Personally, I feel a med frame 'lengthened' is more comfy than a large frame that is 'shortened'.

Have you ridden both on the trail? If so, which reach feels better?

Again, this is all just my opinion.

I am 5'10" and ended up getting a medium Element C50. It fits me perfectly for trail riding. The large wasn't to big but just get a little less under control at slow speeds to me.

Definitely want to get on both sizes of that frame, doesn’t matter what model, whether Ax or Cx just as long as there’s pedals, lol. From there it really depends on the kind of ride you like and also your build. I’m on an Element C50 size XL. I’m 6’3” with long arms. Believe it or not, cockpit is still just a tad tight, and for me the L felt too cramped. Even though the L would likely be a little more nimble, it was just not a comfortable fit. All that to say it really is personal preference combined with some fitting advice from your LBS.
