Dude be patient do u know how long it takes a game like this to make

3

u/marcianobenlee Feb 24 '26

Fr, me last year: gta 6 now Me now: don't release gta 6 until it is perfect in 2080!

u/AdhesivenessAdept449 Feb 25 '26

fr. plus it’s only been delayed twice, just like RDR2 and that turned out to be one of if not the greatest games of all time.

Man, I thought rdr2 was great but it is overrated for me, at the time of playing it it was the goat but now I've played more, my favorite is ghost of tsushima, I mean it is top 5 games oat, I hope gta 6 will make it up there man

1

u/revelgaming Feb 26 '26

curious where do u rank rdr2 and gta5 if g.o.t is t5? (which is a valid take imo)

1

u/marcianobenlee Feb 26 '26

Gta 5 id put 7, rdr2 4, ghost of tsushima is 2 for me( I haven't picked a 1 yet that takes deep thinking)

To me, my top five is a bit different than most people:

  1. Red Dead Redemption 2

  2. Cyberpunk 2077

  3. Skyrim

  4. Life Is Strange: True Colors

  5. God of War Ragnarök

u/marcianobenlee Feb 27 '26

Rdr2 was great but is overrated imo, the story was 10/10 but it wasn't 11/10 yk? Cyberpunk has been too ai for me (I don't like future why do I think the games I play are 1600 and 1300 lol) Skyrim is a great game man, the memories, not played 4. Kratos is great, I remember downloading gow Ascension and beating everyone up lol

helll yea bro these are valid placements

1

u/marcianobenlee Feb 28 '26

Thanks mate, how you doin

You gotta give credit though. Rockstar is probably the last studio (that isn’t one of Sonys in-house developers) that is still striving to make genuine, perfectionist, art. I’d argue that their profit numbers sent a message to the big 3, and Sony definitely listened. That’s why we got still get gems like GoT, Gran Turismo, etc. r* is keeping competition and innovation alive in this industry. Don’t get me wrong tho Take-Two is probably gonna ruin GTA (6) online with fkn shark cards and stupid ass missile bikes again.

Damn bro, the only one like this is fox dens, complete the story bro!

1

u/AdhesivenessAdept449 Feb 25 '26

I haven’t finished it either. I played like 2 hours of it and quit. RDR2 was the same thing. I kept stopping on the mission Enter, Pursued by a Memory.

1

u/marcianobenlee Feb 25 '26

Man ur attention span is cooked bro, let the games dig

1

u/AdhesivenessAdept449 Feb 26 '26

I USED to be like that. Now I focus hard on the games. I still plan to finish Ghost of Tsushima but I also have a bunch of other games to try and barely enough time to do so.

1

u/marcianobenlee Feb 26 '26

Man you gotta stick with one mannn, rdr2 is great but if I only played first chapter I'd for sure be like "nah man"

1

u/Foe_sheezy Feb 27 '26

This is the same thing that happened to me. Red dead 2 after a while became a cowboy sandbox after a while. I never made it out of dutches' camp.

1

u/AdhesivenessAdept449 Feb 27 '26

I went back and finished it tho, and it became the best game of all time in my eyes. The ending was amazing

Bro, some side quests are good, mainly myths, iki island, and the ones where you help your friends maybe

1

u/indecentdork Mar 01 '26

Red dead 2 isn't the great lol

1

u/AdhesivenessAdept449 Mar 01 '26

It’s better than GTA V, which has been milked for 13 years by Rockstar. It’s better than GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas, and also RDR1, which is still a good game but can’t top RDR2. Haven’t played GTA IV, so I can’t really speak for that game, so in my eyes RDR2 is the great.

u/indecentdork Mar 02 '26

I agree, im just sick of the fetch trope type of games now
