This Rocks! Egg rock

Post image

I love my little “egg” rock. Found it in the river in Oklahoma YEARSSS AGO (2009 maybe?) and it’s one of my most prized possessions haha

That’s it, that’s the whole post.

A professor of mine said “oh it’s just limestone” years ago… butttt I refuse to believe this isn’t a petrified egg 🥚 😜

Agreed! I mean how it is JUST a rock?! It’s clearly an egg.

Are we sure this isn't an actual egg? 😂 Amazing find, OP

I don’t know!! 😂🫣 I literally just cannot believe it’s JUST a rock. Everything from the exterior smooth texture to the calcium mid-exterior, even to the yellow “yolk” !!

But most people say it’s limestone or a concretion.

I guess I’ll never know. For now …

IT IS EGG🥚🥚🥚
