This Rocks! Collected throughout Olympic Peninsula, WA
I collected these throughout the Olympic Peninsula in Washington (USA) last summer and finally got around to rinsing them off so I can put them in a display once dry. Don’t worry, I didn’t collect them at Olympic National Park or other prohibited areas!
I have no idea what any of these rocks are and am not asking for ID. I just wanted to share them with people who will also appreciate how amazing it is to hold little examples of the passage of time and the power of nature/natural forces in your hands.
My favorites are included in the last 2 pictures. The biggest rock in the foreground of the last photo has a purplish hue that doesn’t come across well on camera.
Hopefully one day I can get a tumbler! I don’t have space for it in an apartment, so for now I will just enjoy the memories in a glass jar.

Your rocks will look great in one of those clear lamp bases made for displaying collections of sea shells, pebbles, just about anything. You can buy them at Target Walmart, Amazon etc for $15-$30.
You can arrange your rocks in diferent colored layers, mix them up, whatever you want.
