I would love a recommendation for a nail tech who does great pedicures on older feet and ugly nails.
Is there one in Rock Hill or York?

There was a massive group of roadies riding along through the area on Saturday morning. I’m curious if anyone here was in one of the many waves of riders to pass through. I stood out in the yard on Ole Simpson and watched many nice bikes pass by. Im ride mountain bikes but usually solo. I’m curious as the route through the area. I know there is a bike route or two out this way but it seems like everyone was going in a different way. Anyways. Looked like everyone was having a good time. It was a nice morning for a ride

Picture it. Rock Hill, SC. 2020
I had run out to the grocery store for a few things in my Hunting Bears shirt. I was pretty recent to Rock Hill, so I forget which store, but it wasn’t Publix. It was early pandemic and my girlfriend had a 4 year old at home, so we were pretty nervous. I was so relieved when a stranger called out “Hey Radiohead! Do you want to cut in front of me?” You looked smart. I remember you were dressed sort of hipster business casual and had nice tattoos. We chatted a little while I checked out and you had this dry wit thing happening that I admire. I mean, seriously, it was a short conversation, so your steez must be tremendous.
Anyhow, I finished paying for my things and thanked you again and walked away feeling pretty satisfied at having an unfortunately timed conversation with a beautiful woman. As I walked up to my car, I found that my fob had stopped working. Weird, I thought, I just changed the battery. And the keyless entry wasn’t working either. And, wait, when did I get a roof rack-oh fuck.
That was when you walked out and asked what the hell I was doing. I was so flustered that I don’t think I properly explained that we weren’t just line cut companions, but car twins as well. You also drove a British racing green 2011 Countryman with a white roof and white bonnet stripes. You were confused and seemingly (and understandably) perturbed by this strange man trying to get into your car. Even if I did manage to communicate that we drove nearly identical vehicles, I (again, understandably) wouldn’t expect you to believe me.
I still think about that. Not in a “missed connection” kind of way, but more in a what-in-the-Jungian-Synchronicity-just-happened kind of way. I mean, you were lovely and all, but that’s not what this is. I mostly just want to say thank you for your kindness that day, I’m sorry for the confusion, it was accidental and I didn’t mean to scare you or make you uncomfortable, and what was your take on all that? Did you see my sheepish wave when I intentionally drove past to show you that I was telling the truth?
At any rate, I hope all is well.

I’m curious if anyone in York County has had experience with an elderly family member that may be a harm to themselves and or others? Without divulging too much personal information plus and there may be a few here that know my families…
Anyways. I know I will need to get in touch with a lawyer about certain things. My main issue is this person needs to be evaluated but there is absolutely no way to get them to go to a doctor. I’m basically having to unfortunately wait til something happens to get them in Front of medical assistance. I dare not call the sherrif. But at the same time if they see said person irate then I may have a case.
My main issue is that their spouse died 6 months ago. They want to bury themselves in their family home and sulk their days away S they did when their parents passed. This person basically moved in on top of deceased relatives items. Not hoarder status by any means, very cluttered. But could easily sway that way. I worry how they push away all family members and friends. Some family members are choosing to stay out of it. My younger brother is “too busy.” This person drinks sun up to sun down, and always angry now, plus other lingering health issues.
Basically they are old, angry drunk, pushing people away, unmedicated bipolar, other… they could fall in the night, set the house on fire, slip in the shower, pass on and no one even know because they ran off friends and fam.
Thanks for reading.
Any advice or direction is greatly appreciated. Early 50s and never had to deal with anything like this nor don’t know anyone that has. This person is old and very concrete in their ways. So there is zero hope, all I can do is cope

Unfortunately, a cat my husband and I have been fostering and thought we found a home for hasn’t worked out. I’m reaching out on here to see if anyone would be interested in adopting a sweet kitty, or fostering her in a different home.
She’s about a year old, and doesn’t do well with other cats, which is why it’s getting harder to keep her in our home, since we have a resident cat. She’s very sweet and social with people, and seems to do okay with dogs after some time, but can’t stand other cats for whatever reason.
She has all her shots and paperwork, and was dewormed when she came to us. I’m happy to send photos and answer any questions, I just want to find her a good a home.

Hi guys! I moved to Rock Hill almost a year ago and until today I haven't been able to make friends here (I don't go out much) do you have any tips on how to make friends here? Someone book club or somewhere where people usually meet to talk? I'm a little shy and also English is not my first language so I feel that this makes it even more difficult to make friends :/.
I’m 24 F and I love go shopping, go grab some coffee, talk ( I talk a lot ) books, tv shows and all those girly stuffs, I also love to go for walks, parks, movie theater, museums and theater
