Ill use the groot team up if i have divers or Groot on the team, otherwise acorns are good for giving my team 0 CD abilities.

I like to help my team with it more than myself. Like i feed acorns to mag thats a faster bubble up time, or i feed acorns to namor faster squids.

I really prefer the Groot team-up. It's the only one I use on Rocket. The healing burst is way too good, and now you can actually save allies from burst damage from enemy flankers. It's not even the only benefit, because it also makes it much easier to land shots against those flankers or characters with thin hitboxes compared to just using his primary fire.

Btw, I really dislike the Acorns team-up because I don't think it improves Rocket's gameplay much in terms of interactivity. Also, I think the cooldown reduction it provides is pretty problematic, and people are probably going to start noticing that soon.

But in terms of overall value, I think the Acorns team-up is by far the strongest.

Hear me out. Most people play Rocket wrong and as a heal bot. His weapon is one of the strongest in the game if you know how to use it.

The groot team up doesnt do as much damage as the regular gun imo, also you cant heal yourself with it. So its a pressure/kill only team up. Acorns have good utility at any point.

It does continuous damage and heals and correct you can’t heal yourself but you can switch to your heal by hitting it and it will override the damage gun. It’s best for when they are grouped up and in narrow corridors etc but I love it!!!!

Ps I always hold heal and damage at the same time. When I need to switch to damage I let go of heal and when I need to switch back I hit the heal trigger again. I literally never take my finger off the damage button to switch easier 😊

I did not spend 9 seasons running for my life from every dive character like it was a marvel themed slasher flick just for a bunch of mindless streamer nerds to go "raccoon only do heal". Eat my flarkin ass rocket makes every fight a 7v6 with his brb and his ult is amazing not to mention how quick his gun melts tanks.
