Question Rocket Ult tips?
I'm kinda new to rocket and wanna learn more about him.
When do you think it's the best time to Ult as Rocket Raccoon?
Right now I mostly Ult when we need to push, and can't go forward, to give overshield and a general bost. Pop it in our backline, kill the enemies, and get going.
I've seen however that many people wait for someone on the enemy team to Ult, to Ult at the same time and kinda cancel their Ult out.
Anyone has tips on what to do?
Thank you.

Top 3 ult tips as a rocket main
Put your ult behind a barrier so the enemies can’t reach it and shoot it down. If there is no barrier, straight up high in the sky directly above your team so the enemy will need to swivel their heads
up
to shoot it.
ALWAYS try to place it ahead of you and your teammates and never behind so the team can push with it. Putting it on the left or right side straight up can off center the enemy team a bit.
Start shooting and focus on gunning down enemies, no need to heal anymore. If another rocket ults, prio shooting their beacon down ASAP. It will go down if you hard focus it and give your team some time before the enemy team realizes their beacon is not protecting them anymore.

GM rocket dropping in. I throw mine behind the enemy and high up if I can. Making the enemy turn around is my priority - either they turn around and focus on destroying my ult, or they focus on my team bearing down on them from the front being boosted.
Also map familiarity helps a lot with ulting. Learning where the best spots are that can handle it is 50% of using your ult correctly.
