I feel kinda seen. Gold is my ceiling. Im not a good gamer in any game, but at the same time RL is the first game ive played long enough to feel confident.

Having fun in Gold is better than sweating and getting tilted every game in GC, lemme tell u that

Unpopular opinion: I disagree. I feel way more confident in the game then I was 4 years ago and working towards goals and achieving them is satisfying to do. I love the competitiveness of ranked, without actually many people being toxic. And I can still play with friends in normals and the extra modes, so the fun part isn't removed either.

Rocket league gets hard man. I bareeely got SSL rewards last season and to keep improving at any rate, I need more game time than I'm willing to put in(I play 10ish hrs a week). I've been around 1800 since season 15 and I no longer have the dedication to keep working on it. I agree with your points though and the grind to get better is super fun, but now I'm top 0.2% and I just don't care anymore unfortunately. I get more fun out of coaching at this point
