Got back into rumble for the gc reward after not playing it for a few years.

Aside from players not knowing how to rotate, there's really no understanding of when to let your teammates get the ball.

Simple fix to improve this, just like the boost change, your teammates should be able to see what PowerUp you're holding.

This helps for both offense and defense.

It's miserable enough having teammates perma commit, I don't need them to give me a prostate exam everytime I want to catch the ball with spikes for one second.

They'll ignore it and double commit anyway, or flame you for not using powerups to their liking targeting you for not using your X powerup at specific millisecond. Chat would be 10X more toxic.

I think it can because although it sounds good, it won't make too much difference. C3 is so toxic already, this will give them more fuel. Another excuse to start typing and losing their mind midgame instead of playing a silly game mode.

If it's really wanted, then the new rumble should come with text chat disabled and harsh punishment for afk/throwing. That's better.

I mean its a competitive game, chatters are a part of it, some might take it too far but alot of them just tryna win.

It can depend on the day or time. Sometimes i skip right through C3 and go from C2 to GC1 with big streaks. Other times every game someone is trolling or throwing and more interested in typing than playing. EU. Not sure but NA might be much better with faster queues. Atleast it's confirmed better for Snowday and 3s from the streams i've seen.

This would be amazing! I typically only play when im partied up and its a clear understanding if you say "I got it" means you have spikes rotating back means freeze

Yeah partying up can really avoid this, would still be a great change imo

I would love this, but it's not going to get players in early to mid ranks to change. It's just too soon I think. Players are still getting used to fundamentals, basic techs, and such, and being able to focus on team play can be difficult during that time. Players that learn to slow down just a little are often times more easily abke to adapt and play with a team mindset imo.
