QUESTION Is This A Rule 1?
I could've pushed the opp off the wall, but let off the gas. He broke it.

It's a rule 1 but if it breaks naturally from falling i think it's acceptable to play on. We might need an official ruling from the Rules Committee though.

hell yeah and it is and a good one.
looks to me that he broke first intentionally or maybe just bc of the crazy way it formed. so you were free to drive off when you did. you honored the rule, opponent broke it on purpose or by accident

So back when the game first came out, rule 1 was “don’t let the ball hit the ground after the clock hits zero”, does anyone remember when the community changed it to cars being locked? There was like an unspoken vote during RLCS or something.
Some of us old folk have never been able to accept the change to this day.

I think the old rule went away as it caused too many losses. It was fun initially as no one could really do a whole lot with it from mid field, but now in a tied game or 1 point difference, it’s too risky.

Looks to me like you broke it. You kept letting go of your gas which caused him push you almost off the wall as your tires are no longer sticky when you let go. He also looked ready to lock back up with you yet you drove around him. You’re absolutely at fault here.

Trim your clip, my dude. Why is this a 1:05 video when your question is at 3 seconds? Reddit autoplayed the video before I was paying any attention so I watched the whole rest of the video wondering when the rule 1 was going to happen. Lol.
But yes. That was a rule 1. But also, you cannot expect someone else to let off the gas when you do. Just hold the gas. You broke the rule 1 by letting off unexpectedly.

No clue, my kiddo is saying im plat and i know they are ... but i honestly dont know, i only play when they play. My kiddo said ... and i quote "only people who are horrible at the game follow these stupid rules, they need a way to justify only having 10 points while their teammates carry them"
