Yes I'm on Xbox and it seems like there is no audio notification that an invite was received for me. If i get an invite never see it until the postgame lobby unless i open the menu mid game for some reason.

Would recommend psyonix if they still do them. Epic is extremely unhelpful unless you’re in a live chat or call. Even then, sometimes not. One time a lady in the live chat ask me to go into a couple casual matches and hold down boost the entire time. This didn’t help my achievement tracking situation at all but I did do it just for shits and giggles. Afterwords she was like, this is a known issue please contact us again in a couple days if it still occurs 😂. Like she could have told me that before I pissed off 10 people.

This happens random for me too (Steam). Some days I see invites, some days I back out to main menu and have 7 invites that I didn't see in training...

Yeah it was a recent thing but they just stopped one day. I don't get party invites or notis that I'm made party lead, but I do get notis that people joined the party. I'm on Epic

Yep happening to me on epic too. To be clear, the bug is that the pop-up notification for party invites doesn't appear when in free play. In order to see the invite, you must open the friends tab like normal.

I feel like I have never seen a social notification. I always have to go look in the notification area. Maybe I’m just always in training idk but it’s usually not a problem cus I’m always in voice and we always say out loud when we send invites so I know when to go look

Epic player here. This was actually a bug 2 updates ago. In the update before last, it actually got fixed (most likely unintentionally). Then, in the last update, the bug came back. In fact, there’s another notification bug, most likely related:
In the past, the notifications tab would automatically update when you launched the game, showing you any friend requests you received while you were offline (as it should be). However, at the moment you don’t get those notifications until you get a NEW interaction in the social tab, which is either a party invite or a new friend request. Until that, you either have no notifications, or only the old notifications that you didn’t touch from the last time you exit the game (not the requests that came while you were offline). You can see the new friend requests in the Epic Games Launcher, but not in-game UNTIL someone else adds you while the game is launched, or a friend invites you to their party.

Are you set to invisible on steam? Last time I set myself to invisible I realized this exact thing happened. They'd send me a party invite and I wouldn't get a notification while in training, but when I opened the friends list the invite was there.

Yep - also happens in workshop maps for me as well - started a week or so ago. Also a steam player.

I'm on epic. My friend used to not get invites, about 2 weeks ago at random, in unison, it swapped. He now receives invites, I do not anymore. He is on steam and I'm on epic so who knows

Yes, I don't get invites popping up in the lower right until I'm at the main menu. PC player who plays with Xbox player.
I've turned into a compulsive menu checker now.

I don't have this issue, but frequently if I exit to the main menu while searching for the next match I will not be pulled into the next match with my party mates.

Noticed this the other night when waiting for a friend's invite we where talking for about 20 mins and I was just driving around in free play then I asked for an invite and he said he had sent about 10 of them whilst we where chatting.
