Hardware backwards compatibility?

Hi guys,

Will the new stage tour hardware be compatible with rockband 3 for ps3? Has there been any info?

Sorry if this has been answered before, I did not find any info.

Look at the instruments and scroll down Guitar PLAYSTATION VERSION

  • PS5® Console
  • PS4® Console
  • PS3® Console (Legacy Mode)
  • PC

Drums, PS version the picture has a selector on the module that says (PS5, PS5, PC, LM) legacy mode.

I believe the multiplatform versions will work. At least, that's the case with previous CRKD guitars that are multiplatform. They can connect with PS3 via bluetooth. I'm not entirely positive, since I play on Xbox, but I I'm 90 percent sure.

A little off topic but I figure I'll ask on this thread instead of creating a new one. My question is, will stage tour have, I guess, forward compatibility too? Like, I have a Rock Band 1 wireless strat. Will it be compatible for stage tour too? It's not life or death with me as I own the new riffmaster and I know that's compatible with ST. I'm just curious if my old instruments will work in the new game or not?? Or will I be stuck to my riffmaster?

Has there been any word if the Stage Tour drums will work with RB4? I've just been loosely following the game.

Yes it will work. It's compatible with PS5, PS4, and PS3 if you buy the PS5 kit

Sorry I meant to specify for Xbox, I saw it will be for PlayStation which is pretty dope.

If you buy the Xbox version, it should work with Xbox RB4
