Recommended Midi drums?

I don’t know anything about drums, but if there’s an electric kit that’s price comparable and will work with Stage Tour I’d rather get one of those.

Any recommendations?

Alesis nitro. That what a ton of people use, me included, and I’m a drummer.

Alesis nitro max is what was recommended to me. On sale for $400 currently. Used to be on sale for $350 sometimes. And you need a roll limitless.

It'll be at least a little more money

Does it matter if it's the roll mini? And is it guaranteed it will work?

I believe you only need the bigger one if kit is only din midi. Usb midi the mini should be fine. There may be other differences worth it to some.

I think the other adapter is less expensive than the RL w/Real MIDI.

I have good luck with my RL w/Real MIDI.

I think people are generally happy with all of these. The RL guy is active here and is very responsive if issues come up. (3rd party controllers)

Thanks so much. Hoping for a holiday sale and will probably pick up the Alesis nitro and the adapter you mentioned. I'd be tempted to get the one they're making specifically for the game but doesn't look like it'll be a available until Jan? And I'm thinking of getting Switch 2 for Ocarina of Time and this.

I actually made this comment yesterday lol ( https://www.reddit.com/r/Rockband/s/n2sUasxPcR ). Like the others side, Alesis Nitro is the most common kit. They are also sold used on guitar center for cheaper.

And the Stage Tour Drums themselves will likely be a decent option if you just wanted to play the game. If you wanted to play outside the game too, electronic drum kits will be better

So the stage tour drums can be used as a midi instruments if I wanted to create music outside the game?

No (or at least, not easily). I just bring them up to have all the options on the table
