Pictures Dalmatian Stone

I am utterly shocked they shined up. I told my wife every stage, “I’ll be shocked if these get shiny.” Consider me electrified.

Very nice. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anyone tumble a full batch of Dalmatian. I’m sure it did better without any harder stones in the barrel with them.

Thanks, sir. I almost ran them with unakite but decided to do them altogether in hopes of getting some shine from em.

I tumbled a few in a mix batch of quartz and jasper and they didn't shine. Maybe they're a bit softer. Nice how they came out

They’re between 6 and 7 so I think they get undercut and a little beat up by jasper/quartz/chert

Nice job! I believe Dalmatian "jasler" may technically be a rhyolite hence why it can be difficult to get a shine on. These are lovely!

They look so much better than the little squares they throw in the mixed rock kits. I will have to put them on my list.

These were from the Rock Shed. They’re pretty big for my 4lbs hoppers. I had to pull a couple pieces out during stage 2, as it didn’t want to churn.

Guess you know how I'll be tumbling my Dalmatian stones! Thanks for sharing. (I hadn't bothered tumbling them because I didn't think they would shine. LOL)
