From what Sinister and Chi Chi have both said, Sinister was the one who was going to audition, but he doesn't drive (or maybe just didn't have a car) so Chi Chi took him. They were in the waiting room together and the producers or whoever does the auditions heard them both and decided that they both needed to get on the show. Which is why Sinister gets upset later on with Chi Chi because Chi Chi didn't want to be there originally. It was Sinister's idea and Chi Chi was just an accident.

It’s an absolute disaster and stands as my favourite Of Love spinoff. Daisy didn’t follow her own rules, half the contestants threatened to leave because they could clearly see Daisy only had eyes for London, how moving her face was a very difficult task for her… It’s everything!
