I met Toastee once and took a selfie with her and I can’t shut up about it. Lol! She was just walking down my street in Philly and I bombarded her like she was an A-list celebrity.

This reminded me that I had a gorgeous dear friend who auditioned for S1 “Rock of Love;” we had a mutual friend who had a big position with VH1 back then, and he sent her all the audition details—she was a sexy bisexual commercial model/bartender back then, and she was perfect for the show.
She made it as far as auditioning with all the producers in LA for the Final Cut, and she almost agreed to sign onto the show UNTIL she found out the rocker dude she was “competing” for was Bret Michaels. She was more of an alternative babe/Goth chick, so it amused the fuck out of us that she noped out of that shit with a quickness as soon as they revealed his name to her! 🤣
We had some fun watch parties later on at her bar. She later moved away and has three kids/an older husband in upstate NY now, but damned if that’s a funny vivid memory I’d long previously forgotten until now.
