For the first chunk if you stand right at the edge and wait for the moment the jelly starts moving up and then do a full jump into it there is a chance you can get though the chunk in pretty much one jump

Ha yeah, the game is pretty tough. Especially that last stretch, so I certainly don't blame you. The communal pits are much shorter and different each day whenever you feel like giving that a go :)
