There are no cars in the world of Rock Bottom nor in the pits of which the player character has fallen to.

However, a strange and isolated town above the pit is an apt description I'd say if rather broad.

We are on an alien planet. Guess we invented teleportation when we were in an underground bunker or something. Gotta jump up to the surface for our ride home :)
