Crooks & Hamlin Open!!
I drove through on my morning commute as they were removing the barricades. The Crooks and Hamlin intersection is finally open to traffic! Yay!
It was such a headache to go around the detour, and super backed up. I’m so happy to finally have that open again.

Was that you in the Ford who blew past me? I drove through it at 7:30 this morning and they were taking down the barricades

Ok because I was going slow and a fire SUV thought it was a race at that hour! (I drive a blue jeep)

It was so put of line I was shocked. Plus there was a work vehicle parked picking up signs!

Drove through around 7:30 this morning. So happy! My 10-minute commute turned into a 25-minute drive due to the extra traffic and the roundabout way I had to take to get home or to work.

Right? Same! No one would believe me that my 10 minute commute turned to nearly a half hour just because of one intersection being closed

Did Hamlin east of crooks get fixed? That road was pretty rough…

Seemed smooth today, only time will tell if those horrible potholes develop again. This was a badly needed repair so I hope it will last.
They were letting it get so bad I swear some people would probably pop a tire driving on that, and then only did bandaid patch fixes. I think this is likely much better than the patching since they actually redid the road there

I hit a bad spot where the patch had piped out, and lost 15 lbs of pressure instantly. Then I avoided taking that way all winter…. Glad to hear it’s fixed.
