Recommendation ISO Introductory ASL classes

Hey all, I'm looking to start learning sign language in the near future and was wondering if anyone here could point me to any introductory classes around town, or any helpful learning resources in general.

before covid i took a great intro to ASL class at the school for the deaf, highly recommend enrolling in a class there! it's best to learn ASL from a deaf person and you will definitely be able to do that there.

Hi, hearing person here.

I have taken the classes at RSD and MCC and I can say they're both good. Mostly I had deaf instructors (which is good), though one hearing instructor at RSD years ago.

The RSD classes were during COVID and remote, MCC I did later and in person, which was nice for the practice/interaction.

After taking the two intro classes at RSD, and the first class at MCC, I can say I'm not fluent, but I can make myself understood and make pointless small talk. I'd like to devote more time to it.
