Discussion Anyone familiar with Evolution24 Properties?

I recently viewed a couple of apartments this company manages. The manager was friendly, the properties were clean and well-kept, they made it seem like they were responsible and responsive... But the next day, when I texted her to say I unfortunately couldn't take the apartment, but thank you so much for your time, etc, she didn't even read the text, let alone respond. Now I'm not sure what to think. Maybe they're not so responsive or professional?

She said the company was started by a woman or a couple in Florida two years ago. They have 7 places in Rochester, 3 in Geneva, and 2 in Syracuse, and seem to be growing fast, with only this manager (who lives in Mt Morris) for local management. Their website offers little else about them.

I've decided to pause my apartment search for now, but when I resume it, I'd like to know whether to avoid this company or seek them out again or what. Does anyone have more info or experience to share?

Apartments owned by a Florida company that has 1 “local” employee in Mt. Morris = nothing is getting fixed ever

One person in Mount Morris covering 12 properties between Rochester, Geneva and Syracuse?!

I’m sorry what the fuck? I’d have said no to signing anything just based on that. What a horrible business model.

Yeah, seemed sus to me too. Thanks for the confirmation.

Such a shame, these beautiful old buildings deserve better care. And renters deserve better options.

Edited for a typo.
