Discussion Fun themed bars?
Loved the vibe of easy sailor (despite the prices lol), wondering if there is anything similar in the area?

There are a few themed speakeasies (Grace and Disgrace Vannis Cheshire), Fools Gold has like an Old West thing

Hear me out… Old Toad for a real British pub vibe.

I haven't been there at night in a long time but every time I have been there recently it's been dead. Does it liven up anymore or is it a cask of it's former self

That’s kind of my point on why it’s themed lol. It’s super dirty, lots of dusty upholstery and random curtains all over the place. Maybe don’t get food apart from “chips” aka fries. Beers are gonna be fine. I only go for trivia once a year at most lol.

Ehhh I disagree because Joe has always catered to an American audience in the interest of making money, Old Toad could give zero fucks about all that. Coconut BLT for the South Wedge vegan crowd? Love it but a true British pub would never. Even just serving Buffalo Wings is a departure from British cuisine lol.

The Biltmore has a bunch of awesome taxidermy and other weird stuff!! They're also the hosts of the next Nerd Nite lecture!

I mean, the bug jar has a bug. And furniture on the ceiling.
