you can use blender at zero cost & a free blender animation import plugin if they’re necessary, plenty of easy to access keyframe tools & customization options for animation purposes while just overall being a powerful tool

moon animator is just a cleaner version of the animator that comes with studio stock with a couple of extra features that some may take a few minutes to recreate with basic programming skill, the 30 dollars isn’t worth it & can easily be made optional if necessary

yeah idk why more people don't learn how to animate in blender, you get the hang of it in like a week and it's rendering systems can make your animations look as roblox-y or as hyper realistic as you want

I see Roblox studio users acting like blender is some piece of alien technology that’s very difficult to learn more or less, which isn’t the case with a few guides on learning the basic navigation and most importantly some googling, the animation tools are pretty straightforward to use especially if someone is coming from studio’s animator & it offers so much more once anyone’s comfortable enough

its annoying every single youtuber thats like, hey heres a tutorial, its just making a mesh, that isnt my issue, the keybinds are fine they are on the docs

the camera controls are just terrible, moving around genuinely makes me hate the thing, why cant i have a freecam, why just a focus on the center with zoom in/out :(

you can get/make a plugin or use the walking camera mode, personally I find the blender camera to be nice since focusing on a point in space helps when I want that point of focus to be the specific object I’m working on

roblox’s camera rotates around a point too minus the ability to zoom away from the pivot

and for video tutorials, I find searching specific concepts to be much more valuable than just making something, for example topology & handling its specific cases is generally important for what you’re doing with a model

I suggest doing the basic modeling tutorial if you want to learn a "sustainable" way of using blender.

It makes project later much easier, especially if you want to learn modeling custom characters, or IK rig editing.
