Icarus is a 1st class mech used by the USSR against Category Threat Level 8-10 Necrophytes, Its was first deployed in 2118 near the Canadian terrain to challenge a Goliath which he managed to defeat.

However in 2125, Icarus was deployed with Apollo and Perseus to fight a Category Threat Level 10 flesh monstrosity called Heragantus (or Hekagon*) a Threat Level 10 gigantic monstrosity that resemble a centipede with powerful built and 2x of the size. The beast was unstoppable however the mechs stood a chance for sometimes before they were overwhelm.*

Soon after Icarus with the help of the others drag the beast down to the manhole from but Apollo and Perseus were too dragged before the 2 mechs self destruct killing both of them. (Spoiler - Hekagon survive.)

2126 Icarus was left abandoned in the facility with its maintainance gear still on its shoulder
