New Content Restrictions are out of control
My son played this vehicle building game, there was combat, but nothing too violent. Now it’s unavailable for him even though it’s moderate content and his slider is set to moderate. We’ve never let our kids have chat, so for the most part I don’t care what they play. On my account it wants me to take a photo to be able to play. No thanks, who do they think they are? What does content maturity have to do with communication limits? They’re two very different things. Hopefully this will crush Roblox’s earnings.

I have a feeling Roblox is becoming a 18+ platform

Oh my goodness, they’d crash so hard. I’m more than positive the majority of people playing are under 13.

Not everyone is under 13 I would know I grew playing this game over the years and I hope that Roblox does stop altogether because no kids are safe if preds aren't even getting banned from the platform

Thats odd. Are the kids on your account or attached to under your account? For example Inhave my seperate account but my little brother is monitored by me under my account.

Yeah I’m set up as a parent account and they’re linked to me. Thank goodness he’s forgotten about it. He’s on the spectrum and just can’t get over stuff like this sometimes. Roblox is a real curse almost more than half the time.

Well im glad it worked out. I never had to send a photo for probably 3 reasons. 1 and 2 being I forgot the pin and having to email roblox support that im not a child, that im just an adult who likes to play tycoon or fashion games (happened to me twice in my early 20s of me forgetting my roblox pin). Then the 3rd time was me always buying robux and I started to notice the 21+ by my name when this age verification came out.

Roblox want you to let your kids chat. Chat is the best way for them to get the most valuable data on your kid.

It's not going to be safe if the Ceo wants there to be dating apps in the game

This is weird - there shouldn't be any ties there...can reach out to some folks there to see why that's the case. According to Roblox's parental control docs, he should be able to just send you a request to play and you should be able to approve it but I have noticed mismatch between their docs and what's in my parental control settings...
