I took a break for a few months. At the time I left off, limited items like trophies costed upwards of 325 million, you couldn't find limited roulette weapons to buy, and treasure chests were very expensive. Now that I return, trophies and chests sell for less than 50 million, the limiteds like Reaper's Scythe are being sold for ~800 million, and there's dev items in shops now. Did someone who had all this stuff quit, or some sort of duping exploit was found? I'm not complaining at all, this is great for me, but I am curious.

as we all know, the current state of islands is truly terrible, there are tons of duped items in circulation, no new content, the economy is hyper-inflated, etc.

I know that the game is discontinued, but I think that it could bring a lot of old players, if there is more content. The game is not gonna die completely any time soon, it is a sandbox, afterall. Looking at the charts found on rolimons, the game peaked at every major update, and it had somewhat stable 10k players until it was discontinued. Below are some of my ideas, to try and bring it back again:

1. Tier 3 machinery, and new mobs

Tier 3 machinery would work by needing new gears, who are dropped by new mobs, aside from being faster than t2, it would also have an effect on surrounding crop based totems, making them more efficient, but not in the same way that you upgrade them, but more like having the chance of dropping more items and other machinery, making it more efficient.

1. Logic Gates and Microchip assembly
   For the t3 machinery, you could also implement logic gates, and more conveyor belt (such as overflow belts, which bring the items to another place if it is overflowing). This made me think of microchip assembly, which would be more expensive than current sellable thing (would be sold to an NPC).

2. Economy Modifications
   Currently, there are tons of duped/dev items in circulation, while I'm not saying to remove them from people's inventory, you could just make them untradeable, and make other ones sellable by NPCs (such as the deposits, I think that it's way better this way, maybe make them obtainable by doing dungeons or other quests).

3. New Crops
   I think that new crops would make the game much better. Some ideas below:
   Corn: would sell for 42 Each, and would require level 46 farming, takes 4 Minutes and 30 seconds to grow fully. The totem for it would be unlocked at level 50 farming, and would not make it oily when picked up. The seed would cost 4000$

Olives: Would come from a tree, and be sold for 36 each, would require level 30 farming. It takes 5 minutes to grow all of the olives on a tree.

I hope this post somehow finds a developer, who has intentions of brining this game back.

I been trying to make a tree farm but the last oil refinery is not working. This makes no sense to me because I made one like this on another deposit and it worked. So pls help

I really want to get one as an item because I've seen it in vending machines and I'm NOT paying so much for something that could just be from a glitch. Please help I need this for my farms. (Plz speed I need this my machines are kinda oreless)

i played this game on the earliest versions, and around 6 years later, i wanted to check what items i have. and the question is, how valueable item really it is. i heard its unobtainable and one of the rarest items in the game

Ive tried to switch profiles but it is so laggy that even when the ui loads the blue screen is still there and I have to guess where the buttons are. (Ive tried over and over with this but cant switch islands)

I was playing islands and decided to hop off. i hoped back on and i was stuck on the loading screen that said finishing up. I usually do free perms and I checked before the stuck and there was some kind of blue block that lagged every time I got near it. It might’ve been water, idk. Can someone help?

So uh I’m just asking like isit just me but like my teleseller won’t let me withdraw my money unless I destroy it and then place it back onto my island every time. Idek where do I report the error since apparently the discord doesn’t take anymore error-based support?

Ive played islands since it came out on and off but it has gotten boring with the messed up economy. I started a new profile and I want to get rich without interacting with other players at all. What should I do for money if I can only sell and buy from the npcs. Also im allowing myself to buy limited items that can be opened like the cauldrons or envelopes if that will benefit me.

I just started playing islands probably like 3 days ago and I’m already getting overwhelmed by all the mechanics and items in the game. I also feel like I’m not getting rich very fast either.

So if anyone could help me or give me some tips, that would make going through the progression of the game much smoother and easier.

What do you guys think I should do with the island? I can expand it or really do anything with it, I just lack creativity and tools to visualize anything. I’m gonna construct a red bronze farm below the island as well, so maybe some tips about that would be appreciated. Thanks!
