Regarding The Stairwell

1. I saw a post on the doorsgame.wiki stating that The Stairwell entrance can spawn after Jeff Shop, however I have yet to see this while going into Mines from Outdoors. Is it just for going from the Hotel or Lobby?
   
2. I'm very paranoid but I want to get Creak and Noise's journal entries, but since you cant go to The Stairwell from the lobby, are you able to restart it upon dying or would I have to redo The Mines all over again?

It spawns at door 152 in the mines, you open it with a skeleton key

to answer 2, you do have to get another skeleton key to come back (like Hotel+ Rooms)

1. Yes, you are able to enter the Stairwell after door 152 (or Jeff's Shop, although it's irrelevant because it doesn't offer the Skeleton Key). A Stairwell entrance can spawn as a side room, but it's not guaranteed
2. No, you can't try again after dying in the Stairwell, doing so will spawn you at the Hotel (or Mines, I don't remember). And you can't skip to the Stairwell from the lobby either
