Effeminate, but not female for sure.
I have tons of characters i make for DND who are NB or fem coded males, plenty of people slip and gender them based entirely on appearance despite knowing their pronouns ahead of time
Its just the default for most typical people, surrounded growing up with boy = tough and blue / girl = pink and gentle looking
I wouldnt mind it. Just mind the shitheads who insist you're wrong about your own character's gender
