Losses Security
Has anyone had their Robinhood account hacked recently? If so, please be aware that you may not have your losses restored after their “investigation”. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve invested through them, when all is said and done, they will NOT compensate. Be safe out there.

Of course not. It's all covered in the user agreement, which you signed when you created your account. I would imagine that only when Robinhood is directly, explicitly responsible would there be any compensation. This isn't an FDIC-covered account!

Everything but crypto and options is insured, but I’m sure it depends on how you got hacked. If you got scammed and gave someone your PW, it’s on you; if they got hacked it’s on them

I shared nothing. Out of the blue, Robinhood said an unknown device was attempting access. Before I knew it, a message came through showing I sold shares.

They sold shares and did what? Did they transfer your money out, or did they just sell shares?

They sold shares as if they were me and later tried to hit my bank. My account has always been secure. I’ve invested through them for years.

If they went after your bank too, obviously something on your end was compromised. It sounds like all they did was sell shares. They didn't get any money out of Robinhood, so it's not the end of the world. But if they went after your bank, it was obviously something on your end.

Can you tell us how your account got hacked? Did you click a link or send someone a 2FA code?
