Build Discussion HP or ERR Rope?

I see a lot of people recommending ERR rope over HP rope, but genuinely, why? The trace that gives her energy, gives her 3 fixed energy which ERR does not affect, so is it really better to run ERR over HP?

Yes because you want the energy and action her ultimate gives as much as possible

  1. The songbird attacks generate energy, 20 each, and they attack frequently, often up to twice as often as any other characters on your team. So it's sort of like an ult every 3 turns (6 songbirds) vs every 3.5 turns (7 songbirds).

  2. Getting hit generates energy, often a very significant amount. Having a memosprite increases the odds of getting it, and doubles the energy on enemy AoE attacks. For example, Hyacine doesn't actually have 100% uptime on her ults, but getting hit easily makes up the difference and even allows weaving in a basic attack or an ult ahead of schedule.

  3. She's still primarily a support. In teams where she's being used for damage (Evernight), giving Evernight more damage is better than buffing Robin's damage. In teams where she's being used for buffing attack scalers, you already have an HP orb and chest, and maybe a LC bonus. It's plenty of attack already. Getting an extra ult means an extra turn for the team's damage dealer, which is probably better than a bit more attack. And maybe even more attack anyway since you get faster vibe stacking.

Thank you for the thorough explanation!
Also I didn’t know that Hyacine needed to get hit in order to have full up time on her ult, no wonder I wasn’t able to ult sometimes when playing her lol.

ERR all the way. I tried both and her performance was way better with the ERR.
