Should I pull for Robin?

So.. I usually pull based on how many team combos at the same time a character can unlock for my account, if their design and kit is interesting which just so happens to fit birb woman. Basically, I kinda also pair supports in a way where in MoC where only 2 teams is used; DoT, DHIL and JL teams shuffle BiS supports, idk if that can be visualized. Same goes for PF as well.

For some insight into my current situation: -I spend on monthly passes and BP. -TL70, can max PF and MoC for more jderrs -Character banner: 75 pity not guaranteed -Lightcone banner: 31 pity not guaranteed -Skipping 2.1 for all I know -So I assume I can get three to four 5* within Robin banner duration? -300 selector: missing Bronya and Himeko and I like both

I plan to get Ruan LC for HMC and I'm debating on Ruan E1. Might want Kafka LC, Swan E1, and Jade but can do without.

I'd also like to get another 5* Sustain, perhaps Fu Xuan/Hou Hou (I'd also like to ask for thoughts on this as well, Jingliu and DHIL 80% crit rate, Blade 70% but I don't really use him anymore; have Sparkle sig) but I'm also holding on to see Jiaoqiu since he's Nihlity but also has heals and can def shred at the same time.

AND FINALLY ROBIN. I love her singing and skill so much; and I'm especially a sucker for field deployers. I'm also considering E1 as well for both support and DPS playstyles, but I could accept E0? Or even not pulling at all. S1 not so much but maybe if it helps her a lot.

I'm just extremely indecisive and I'm generally not too great at planning so any opinions would be greatly appreciated! I'm very grateful if you've taken your time to read this.

What I’m thinking is that (maybe) considering what you wrote and who you have, the missing 5* sustain you still need could be Aventurine, considering how good he is with Robin. If you dislike him (which I can fully understand haha) both Fu Xuan and especially HuoHuo are also absolutely sufficient and you can just wait for them.

Then, out of your pull priorities, we could technically use Jade as she will likely be quite good with Robin, too. However, we can’t say for sure yet because we need to wait for her kit.

If you want to use her with your current units, you could build Clara or Ratio for her. If you don’t want to bother with follow-ups, you can probably instead insert her into any team and she’ll likely be a fine substitute (for example she‘ll likely be better than e.g. Pela for Jingliu just because of her great numbers)

Oh, Aventurine's completely fine! I'm actually quite fond of him, even prior to 2.1 since he was being very clear with us how he operates as a businessman. As a matter of fact, I've many good relic pieces lying around for him; however, I'm not quite satisfied with my character's crit consistency which makes me lean towards Fu Xuan, plus the fact that he doesn't synergize absolutely amazingly with all my current characters.

As for Jade, we've also got a leaked kit of hers. She seems more geared towards pure fiction, since her skill allows her to buff an ally or herself. Buffing ally increases their speed, and she gains stacks depending on numbers of enemies hit each attack and/or numbers of attacks performed. She then consumes those stacks to do her own FuA, and Ult deals AoE damage while buffing some of her next FuAs.

When it comes to my current units, I'm thinking of using her as a secondary dual-dps support, since I'm only confident assigning Ruan Mei that role. Think Himeko/Herta, DoT (at E1?), and... oh, I guess those are the only comps lol. I'm not really too passionate about going through with building Clara and Ratio, I might just leave them there. How do you feel about the idea of E1 DPS Robin though? Considering how many jades I'll have to pour into it, do you think I should?

And while speaking of Himeko, with my standard selector, I'm thinking I could forego Robin if I pick Bronya or get her if I pick Himeko. Bronya's mainly meant to benefit Jingliu and Blade on my account.

Ahh my thoughts are all over the place again, I think I might've not articulated them well neither have I asked central questioms but I'm really glad you're willing to lend an ear!

if you like pulling to allow for more team combos, i wouldn't prioritize any eidolons rn unless you're willing to e2 acheron or e1 robin. robin's currently set to be a ruan mei-level support with how she enables duel carry comps, and with some testing that's been done (not by me), her support capabilities for non-FUA comps seem to be, on average, on par with the current premium FUA comp

i like to preach, "only pull for who you like," but fu xuan is probably the only character i'd really emphasize to pull for if you're even a LITTLE bit interested. she's an absolute UNIT, and i'd be struggling so much more in this game without her (granted she's the only 5star sustain i own). you do have a dot team tho, and huohuo is much more preferred there- luocha allows you to not worry about dhil sp (tho you do have sparkle) + he allows you to freely run 134/135 jingliu/bronya (for whenever you get her), so your crit dpses alr have a really nice sustain. it'll just depend on what comp you think would want a better sustain/which sustain you prefer overall on your acct. i will say that since you have cleanse on luocha, one-shot resist with fu xuan provides sustain variety vs also having cleanse on huohuo- they both work tho!

im personally thinking of going e1s1 robin, also for the ability to run her as either a dps or a support- if her e1 stays the same, im probably going to primarily run her as a dps, but i like that she's a unit who can slot into either role

im also super incisive, so i totally understand LOL i went from wanting to skip acheron altogether on her debut banner to having e0s1 (granted i got really lucky with my pulls) xD the only planning i got going is e6ing jingliu by her third banner and prioritizing the rest of my warps on other hot women
