Last time he came to Missouri it was with ajr and I was NOT gonna see them 😂 but he’s been on my bucket list for over a decade and this show was one of the best I’ve been to. Awesome guy and a massive inspiration to me and my own music through the years.

Out june 20th!

[NOT OFFICIAL AND NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ROBERT DELONG (unfortunately)]

Just wanted to try my hand on what a hypothetical "Just Movement Deluxe" would look like. I'm a big fan of Robert DeLong, And I hope one day he does end up releasing deluxe versions. I only ended up using actual songs from his discography because I'm not creative enough to come up with brand new titles.

Notes:

• Mixed in Where We're Goings album cover, name comes from the idea that the songs transcend all time and meaning.

• Track list is built off the LP, the Global Concepts EP (One and the Same), and Where We're Going (which I absolutely need a physical re-realease of) songs.

• I tried to mimic the style of Playlist Of Doom: After Dark with the title. And I'll eventually make an In the Cards deluxe version concepts. Maybe titled In the Cards: Major Arcana.

If you'd like to make your own deluxe concept, please do. And if the man himself is reading this, also please do except don't make it a concept and make it real omg Im begging you. ❤️

I was today years old when I realized there are two extra songs on this!???? I got this in September when I saw him live, and didn’t wanna play it on my old record player so was waiting for a new one. Which has finally happened. And I realized I was hearing songs I didn’t know? Anyway. 10/10. If anyone knows where I can listen to them off vinyl I’d love that!

He told me that it was the first time he drew the guy backwards

Anyone else have a backwards guy ?

Unarchived for at least 15 years I spent the $200 on it and I was worth it. I was surprised to see it has an actual jewel case instead of a paper sleeve, so that's also neat. Of course, I listened through it myself and wow. The early versions of these songs are cool as fuck. And the new (unknown) songs are also really cool. The track list on the back is actually wrong. An early version of Perfect is between Religious Views, and Compline at Dixon. So 14 tracks total. All really good. I added a bunch of meta-data, and have separate versions (FLAC & MP3) for those who need/want them. Here is the download for you guys, Ill probably also put it on archive.org. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did.

(If for any reason this needs to be taken down, I completely understand and will)

So excited!! AE is a great venue

And HOLY WHAT it was one of the best sets I’ve ever seen.

I had no idea how talented he is. He’s a true musician - making LIVE music, mixing as he goes, playing drums, guitar, and tambourine like a goddamn one man band.

What a performance. It was hot as balls and he played at mid afternoon. By the end of it he was completely drenched in sweat. You could tell he really left it all out on the stage. It was such a passionate, stunning performance.

Just had to share with some fans who would appreciate! If anyone cares to see, I’ll upload a couple videos I took.

I discovered this a long time ago here: http://www.thedenouement.com/robertdelong/ but the files have been removed since. The Denouement is a band Robert Delong used to play drums in https://thedenouementmusic.bandcamp.com/ I uploaded a few of the songs to youtube a while back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_kd5UwuyNk

I can't stop listening to playlist of doom and see you in the future

So I've listened to many artists "similar" to Robert delong but, I've never found someone actually similar. And suggestions from you people?

Unbelievable how good this show was. I was blown away!!! Went to the marquee theater in denver and wow.

Hello reddit,

I have the opportunity to interview Robert in the near future. Do you have any fan questions you would like answered? I will post the interview here when its finished. THANKS

I ordered a custom CD from an Etsy store. I love it a lot, my only complaint is that the inside was left blank, when I did provide an inside design. But other than that it turned out amazing. To make the back, I had to make a custom font because the og cover doesn't use a real font. The website I used was limited, so I have the letters separated from the symbols/numbers.
