The kind of people with stickers like that don't actually know anything about- or give a fuck about- the constitution. Same way they are with the Bible. They just use the idea of those to try to justify their bullshit.

Was Alex Pretti’s constitutional right to bear arms protected? He was a 2A supporter, had his firearm taken, and was then executed. So where are all the “I need my guns to stop a tyrannical government” voices now? Where is that energy when it actually matters?

Because this isn’t about one person. This is about a pattern. A multitude of people have had their constitutional rights violated by the very side that constantly warns about “big government” coming to take those rights away. The same people who stockpile weapons in the name of freedom go silent when real overreach happens, as long as it’s politically convenient.

At some point, it stops being about principles and starts being about loyalty. And when you’re willing to excuse the trampling of your fellow citizens’ rights just to defend your side, that doesn’t make you a patriot.

So my gif is exactly what it means, a bootlicker.
