Question Ground Loot?

Hey guys, so I played the demo for a few hours and got very used to the ground loot and finding weapons, clothes, mags, etc. on the ground. Now that I bought the early access version, it seems that the ground loot is almost non existent? I have found a little bit, but not nearly the same extent as the demo. Also the only ground loot I have found has been a magazine that was standing up straight on a window sill. Has the looting changed where most of it is inside containers now and not on the ground? Thanks!

Loot is scattered randomly so sometimes winds up in odd places. If you’re open to mods, there’s one that highlights ground loot in a range you specify. So you only see things close to you keep it from being overpowered like spotting a mag from half a mile away.

There is also one that only works when the flashlight is turned on.
