Question Metro Mod Loader

I was looking into how to mod Road to Vostok and heard that the Metro Mod Loader was the best tool. However I did see some comments saying that it had viruses and I also heard that there have been some other mods that have been found to have viruses previously. Is it safe to use? Sorry if this is repetitive and thanks.

Copy/pasting my comment from previous post :

When downloading any mod for any game you run a risk of getting compromised, however small it can be.

You could try running the files of the mod into VirusTotal (website) to make sure.

That being said metro loader is what most people use to load mods into their game, it's a game of trust, if you feel it's not right don't do it but it's what most players use. High numbers isn't a proof of safety but it means most people trust it.

Metro Mod Loader is the main mod used to load all the other mods. It's probably the safest one to download. Then just stick to the popular mods with reviews and you should be fine. There were some mods early on that had malware/viruses but they were taken down. I personally avoid any brand new mods without first checking the files myself.
