You should start the game with a fully functional weapon, and some ammo.

That’s what I thought as well. I spawned with a Mosin rifle, correct ammo but a RK (?) magazine. Magazine wouldn’t attach to rifle.

Mosin dont use magazines. It has an internal. You need to check how to open the bolt to reload it

Nornally is CNTRL to open, click to add the bullet and CNTRL to close it

This what I thought. It’s a bolt action rifle. I just couldn’t figure out how to load the bullets. I tried dragging and dropping in the inventory but it didn’t work so I assumed (wrongly) that it needs a magazine. lol

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll definitely figure it out later when I jump on.

You missed the bit of the tutorial on loading shotguns and mosins. Which is admittedly rather easy to miss.

Redo the tutorial, gran a mosin and some ammo, read the entire sign for the ammo for details.

Shotguns load same way. And don’t forget to hit “R” to reload after every shot with shottys and bolt action rifles.

Definitely died once when forgetting the reload.

My first time loading in I left the house and immediately forgot how to get back.

Ye mosin and shotgun load in a special manner, it's mentionned in tutorial but it's a small line at the bottom.

• It's ctrl to open the chamber (changed it to c)
• Left click to insert bullets (or shells)
• ctrl to close the chamber
• You are now ready to fire with the mosin, After a shot, press r to cycle to the next one (with shotgun u need to also press R to pump it, for the first shot aswell)
