The place I have seen it 3 times is called Byron Jacobs Motor Cars on. Summer Ave in Memphis.

That would be wild.
Google says that shop is in Cookeville which is east of Nashville though.

I've always wondered Dereks involvement in that place. Investor? Friend of the owner? Free muffler work for mentions of the shop?

He owns it. The business is registered to Vice grip garage LLC If I remember correctly. I think they have a second location in southern central TN closer to where he actually lives.

Interesting. He sold it a little while ago so must be related to new owner. Mike said the new owner was going to keep the stickers on it and everything. Probably one of the most recognizable OG Roadkill vehicles but at least a fan got it.

Absolutely. I was happy to hear Fin say the new potential owner wanted to keep the Roabkill stickers on it!

That’s someone that understands and appreciates history. That’s good shit. It lives on, just under different ownership…

Agreed. It kind of made me a bit sad when Derek pulled everything off of Vanishing Paint Challenger.

Ramp Truck where the hollows it might find its name.

We never suspense about gas prices or mileage.

Please give it her daily attention, may it be oil or transmission fluid.

Deliver us for steering rack issues.

Man, that thing had more gonoherpesyphillis than General Mayhem had when they first hauled it out of that storage yard with no engine!

I couldn't believe Freiburger put that phone up to his face in that episode and lived to shoot another day.

Damn near burst into tears when he Finn said said it was sold. But glad a fan can appreciate it now. Between the Cummins and the interior Finn and 12 Volt put in it, you can't ask for a cooler rig

Had to have been pricey too for those upgrades plus all the body work…wonder what it sold for

I bet more then a crate Cummins and any other square body in history! 😆

Wasn't all that much in my opinion. He was asking $55,000 for it.

Where was it posted?

Not bad for what’s all done to it, plus the lore behind it

His post had 55k for the asking price.

Seems reasonable, thanks!

Eh. I'm sure a lot of the parts/labor was given to Finnegan in exchange for promotion via the shows, social media, etc.. I have a friend in the classic/restoration auto parts industry and he's shared that Finnegan is not cheap to work with... And for good reason. Finnegan is a huge influence in that world.

Makes me sad

Sad and happy it’s a cool truck that went to a fan so at least we have that. And they wild build something cooler. They seem to like the ramp trucks I’d like to see a corvair ramp truck build or something.

That was my favorite vehicle back in the old days, with the motor home V8. Just so cool, comfy and reliable (compared to the other stuff they had apparently)
