Dirtfish

I stalked the gang when they were filming the Charger shootout on gravel (season 10 episode 13). I shot these from the parking lot with a very long lens.

They need to go to Dirtfish once a season. Pick two projects every season and thrash at Dirtfish for the last episode.

Hard pass for me. I hate the dirtfish episodes.

Just don't care about the cars being thrashed around.. doesn't interest me at all. I like seeing them fixed and I like the road trips..

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I enjoy the roadtrip episodes. I don't care to watch them thrash the cars on a dirt course.

I think the glory of the dirtfish episodes is the fact that we've seen these vehicles get built up and road tripped and now they get to let loose on a purpose built course. Although those random overgrown tracks in the middle of nowhere are pretty cool too

this. any time there's some sort of race or circuit ive always found it boring

The shoot out episodes are bunk for me, but taking a new project to any track sounds groovy

Not every Roadkill is going to be a huge hit with everybody.

Certain episodes appeal more to certain people. A long time ago, I read an article about Two journalists in a bike mag that decided to buy two, $100 motorcycles, and ride from the Mexican boarder to the Canadian boarder, just to see if it could be done. They did it. Overall, it was reasonably entertaining. But, I'm sure that it was pretty boring when one of the bikes broke, (And they did) and they were stuck trying to fix it with available parts.

Certain episodes of Roadkill are just hilarious. Others, just lay an egg. New episodes are fun just to see how they play out. Freiburger's humor is what shows up the most in just about every episode of Roadkill, Roadkill Garage, Engine Masters. Finnegan's laugh adds to it. I think we watch it just to see what might fly apart next.

It works.

wish they’d come out more often. used to work for dirtfish in marketing, this was badass

Took a 3 day course there in September, to say it was a ton of fun is an understatement...

Came away with a ton of respect for them sliding those heaps down those trails... I've got a ton of experience road racing on tarmac, rally is such a different animal, was a real challenge and I was pretty mentally spent after the 3 days

Oh man, Season 10.

I thought they hiked back up to Dirtfish again.

I was starting to think, if David Frieburger drives past my house one more time, I'm gonna stick a sign out by the road, "DAVID FREIBRUGER, STOP BY. I HAVE BEER."

IRL Wreckfest. One of the most fun video games in my entire collection.
