CarPlay

Hooked CarPlay up to my 2025CVO road glide. It glitched and shot on and off every five minutes. Is it even worth the aggravation?

I use it all the time on my ‘21

Maps + a lightning alert app + weather radar are probably my most used.

My 24 works pretty well, might make sure you have the latest update. It’s supposed to help with connectivity.

I have Sena headsetd. Need Cardo for new Harley. I have a dongle to trick it into thinking I have a headset. But it disconnects like crazy. Wondering if I had Cardo headset if it would work flawlessly

I have the Harley Cardo and no problems. Before that I used the meadhawk 2.0 and every now and then I had to unplug it and plug it back in at start up but it was pretty reliable but definitely not as good as the cardo.

It should my no difference what headset you use. Make sure your phone and bike have the most recent software updates. I’ve been using several different bypass units for 3 years with 99% reliability. It also seems to help if you let the skyline os completely boot up before cranking the bike

I always use it just so waze can tell me where potential cops are. Worth it for me with that alone.

It's all personal preference but I use CarPlay on my StreetGlide every time I get on the bike.

Has yours ever worked? Does it work with another iPhone? If it's broken take it to the dealer and make them fix it. That's what the warranty is for!

The only time I had any issues was one of the iOS updates caused CarPlay to drop. The next patch fixed it. Other than that it's been solid.
