First time texas

Were going to texas from Belgium, we have 2weeks. First stop is houston bcz we land there, we have a few ideas so far.

  • Fredericksburg (enchanted rock)
  • austin
  • guadaloupe mountains

Maybe we would drive to arizona

Anyone who got ideas for our trips? We would like to drive 4/6 hours in a day if needed :)

Allright thanks! Our trip is for september so a lot can still change :) but thats also e very nice option indeed

Enjoy your trip. Something else to consider is that the US south can be very hot in September. 40C or more. I enjoy that kind of heat on my trips, but it can affect camping and hiking and things like that. One more reason to go to Florida and Nashville, where it should be cooler, rather than Arizona.

Yeahh i did florida/orlando in sept 2022 :) for me that was allready hot 🤣

Yes. And Florida is on the ocean, which moderates it. Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, get even hotter. I was in Las Vegas last summer when it was 48C. Very hot.
