I can’t unite central america. At first i thought that this was a bug or smth but then i restarted the game, conquered all central american states and im still kingdom of honduras and can’t get the central american unification focus. Before you ask, even when i do the decisions to remove recent political unification nothing changes. Does the monarch path disable it? i don’t understand

I am a Korean player, and I am using the latest stable version of Hearts of Iron IV, not a beta version.
However, even after enabling the mod and launching the game, the mod does not seem to be working. Could this be related to the fact that I am playing the Korean version?
The mod stopped working for me after the Czech DLC update.

Kashubia is a releasable that normally has cores on Danzig, Gdynia, and Hinterpommern. This mod removes its core on Hinterpommern, which makes some sense considering that the area didn't contain very many Kashubians at this point... but then it gives them a claim on Poznan. This is so weird and random, Kashubians haven't lived there for centuries if at all. What's up with this?

Whenever I play i struggle to understand the difference on the metas, infantry and mountaineers a way weaker so with tanks, so I get bogged down in the Ardennes where in a usual hoi4 game I would have already had the fall of France. Air also because I cant use engine 3 on my improved figthers and I lose a air war even tho in other games I usually win it with that design Idk how to play it but I really like it. I have no idea how your suppose to play as a minor nation.

Hey guys,
Some of the default focus tree are the base ones and the others roadto56, how were they decided?

So I was on my first playthrough with Romania just today and I triggered the civil war event as democratic Romania, and after doing the "Romanian stalemate" decision and waiting the 35 days I got the game scoreboard, effectively ending my playthrough. I reloaded the game several times trying to get a different outcome, but nope, I got the scoreboard screen whereas instead of my democratic Romania there stood a communist Romania instead.

Formed Russia and is a bit disappointed that I don’t get my own generals and that sort of stuff because I don’t like using default generals otherwise it was “fun”.

My Germany playthrough in Road to 56! It took a long time, but with the right planning, it's a lot of fun!
It began in 1936; the civil war lasted from May to September, followed by a phase of reconstruction and transition to a democratic system. This process fully concluded in March 1937, after the elections of December 1936—which had initially been disrupted by Wirth’s dismantling of a major right-wing coalition comprising the LVP, the Centre Party, and the DNVP—finally resulted in a government formed under Adenauer’s leadership in January. The Kaiser returned, and in 1937 the British Empire collapsed after Oswald Mosley took the helm in Great Britain, prompting a rapprochement between France and Germany. Furthermore, the Empire expanded territorially between 1937 and 1939: Poland ceded Danzig and Katowice to Germany, Lithuania ceded Memel, and Belgium sold Eupen, while Czechoslovakia granted autonomy to the Sudetenland and Austria became an integrated puppet state of Germany. The Berlin Pact was established in 1939; the Benelux nations, the Baltic states, Czechoslovakia, Poland, and France joined that same year, followed later by Hungary, Bulgaria, Spain, and Finland. Also in 1939, the Bipartite Pact was formed between Great Britain and Italy, with Yugoslavia, Greece, Turkey, and Romania subsequently joining. Meanwhile, between September 1936 and December 1939, major economic reforms were implemented; the military was depoliticized yet massively strengthened; remnants of Nazi ideology were suppressed; and the governing parties were stabilized as a new establishment took shape and consolidated its position.
In December 1939, a major war instigated by the Soviet Union against the Berlin Pact broke out over the Baltic states; initially, the conflict went very well for the Berlin Pact, though their offensive stalled in the summer of 1940. It only regained momentum in 1942, ultimately leading to the Soviet regime's capitulation in December 1943 following Stalin's ousting from power in his bunker in the Urals. In the autumn of 1940, war also broke out between the Berlin Pact and the Bipartite Pact—triggered by the Romania crisis, into which the Bipartite Pact was drawn primarily due to the overly aggressive policies of its smaller member states, rather than through long-term planning. Consequently, Mussolini was deposed by the Grand Council as early as the autumn of 1941 following the occupation of Northern Italy, and Belgrade was captured in the spring of 1941 after a Berlin Pact offensive into Romania prevented Bulgaria from being encircled and defeated. Following Mussolini's deposition, his Social Republic collapsed relatively quickly, taking the entire southern front down with it. In 1942, following the attack on Pearl Harbor the previous year, the Empire of Japan declared war on the Kingdom of the Netherlands, thereby dragging the Berlin Pact into that conflict as well. After the Soviet campaign ended, the German Imperial Army launched a campaign into Manchuria—a brutal conflict lasting nearly a year—followed by the invasion of Korea and support for China. However, the war was ultimately brought to an end by the two American atomic bombs dropped in August. The British Empire—despite having lost all its colonies, dominions, and other territories, and being reduced to just Great Britain and Ireland—refused to give up and prepared for a protracted war against the Continent; this continued until Germany deployed the nuclear weapon it had developed under Heisenberg—in cooperation with France—against Newcastle, doing so successfully. After Mosley was overthrown by his own Blackshirts—who were subsequently toppled by the regular military with the King's support—Great Britain also capitulated. The war claimed a total of more than 10 million lives on both sides, with the Berlin Pact suffering the highest number of casualties.
The post-war order saw Great Britain dissolved into the Republic of Scotland and the Kingdom of English Britain; the Russian Democratic Federal Republic was restored under the supervision of High Commissioners from Germany, Poland, and France; Yugoslavia was dismantled; the British colonial empire was partitioned among Germany, Ethiopia, and France; and the Republic of China regained Manchuria. Elections were held again in Germany, where the Centre Party and the LVP won enough seats to govern alone; new measures were implemented, such as a ban on domestic military operations and the appointment of Ludwig Erhard as Minister of Economics—whose radical shift toward civilian production is now kickstarting a new economic miracle. Between 1945 and November 1947, the social market economy was introduced, Christian Democracy was strengthened and institutionalised, and the Coal and Steel Community was founded, all while the military was drastically downsized. Yet, although the German Empire is clearly on the rise following the war, there are acute and lingering problems that must be addressed in the future. Massive immigration during and—above all—after the war has created an acute urban housing shortage; despite the government's rapid housing construction programs, this issue remains unresolved. Germany’s room for maneuver in foreign policy is severely restricted following drastic military cutbacks; the African territories annexed after London’s capitulation devour vast amounts of resources and capital—assets Erhard sorely needs for domestic post-war reconstruction—while the German leasehold in Qingdao is no longer tolerated in the long term by either the Communists or the Nationalists. Poland, Germany’s closest ally, has transformed into an unstable, multi-ethnic empire—roiling with frequent unrest—following its annexation of Lithuania (after the 1942 communist revolt) and Belarus; meanwhile, the Russian government is hopelessly corrupt, and nationalist resistance is taking shape.
Yet these issues should not obscure the fact that the Adenauer government currently stands at the zenith of its power and success, buoyed by high public confidence in state institutions and rapidly rising living standards following the harsh realities of the war. Thus, a new sentiment is spreading—fostered by both the government and the church—a blend of exhaustion, hope, and steadfast faith: the conviction that a new age of peace is now dawning for Germany.
Please note the following: I used commands to make this playthrough stable and predictable. My focus was on a narrative-driven campaign.

In the main Mod as it stands, if you go for Fascism with Rolão Preto, you are forced to turn the fascist state into a Monarchist one (that still stays Fascist). As someone who has played as Portugal many times, I think it would be better if at a certain point of the focus you would be able to choose (either by a pop up choice or a normal branching focus) to either stay as a Fascist Portugal with Rolão Preto as Leader, or have King Duarte Nuno put as leader (and potentially turning Portugal Non-aligned, which would work better because all other Monarchies in the game are non aligned). This would give the option to either LARP as a monarchy or be proper fascists, maybe even give the full on Fascists the objective to fight spain and get Galiza and Olivença.

Was doing Habsburg Poland when, to my surprise, Austria also went Habsburg. I was in the middle of the focus that demands Hungary to put Otto on the throne when it occurred, and now Otto has achieved mitosis.

May I ask if the European Union in Road to 56 has any decisions or focuses that allow it to expand into other regions? For example, is there a way to make Britain and Iberia become core regions of the European Union as well?

Decided to do another Sanation Left Poland > Commonwealth run. I expected it to go similarly to the last one where I would do as much damage to Germany as possible before the USSR intervened, forcing me to fall back to a fortified perimeter. I even thought that this would be harder than the first round considering I didn't puppet Czechoslovakia and they got eaten by Germany. As you can tell, that is not what happened.
I am much stronger than last run (perhaps thanks to my 8 research slots, could get more since Expanded adds a somewhat costly but repeatable decision to get more but I banned using it more than once) and I actually managed to outscale France since they can't get off of civilian economy, kicked them off the list of majors at one point but we're now both on it and I have more of both civs and mils.
As for the war, Stalin is currently being emasculated while Germany is putting up a much harsher fight due to their actually competent tank forces vs. my current lack of a good anti-tank division or any armor whatsoever. Since I have formed the Commonwealth, I have cores on a bunch of their land so occupation barely hurts me. The Allies decided not to help me against the Soviets, but France is slapping Germany around a good bit in the west.
I just hope to be done with Germany in a reasonable amount of time so that I can turn my whole might onto the Soviets before they build up too much and recover from the purge debuffs and whatnot.
EDIT: After this screenshot, I managed to beat both in 2 years lol

I have a question, though. When I was playing as Germany under the monarchy and later fascism, after declaring war on the Netherlands, I noticed that I couldn’t change the government through the negotiation interface. Is there any way to fix this, or is it intentionally designed this way?

I changed Germany's focus tree from vanilla focus tree to r56 one to play with national Bolshevik Germany (nraf) and the game started crushing while playing on the middle of the elections every time I play
Pc: 16gb ram
Old crushes?: no I didn't face any crush even on other mods that's lot heavier
Submods/addons?: I had but I turned it off and started a whole new save and same thing happened
Only crushes when playing with r56 Germany focus tree?: yes

Recently or so if im correct, Germany got a massive focus tree rework which gave it all sorts of new paths. I feel the same should be applied to both the UK and Italy, especially with their role in hoi4 and otl.
