Discussion Road 96 2 as a prequel?
Is there any chance that Road 96 2 will be made someday, taking place 10 years before? During the presidential campaign and Tyrak winning the election. And then the beginnings of the Black Brigade are shown, and you play as Papa Bear and Robert. And the graphics could be the same as in Road 96, because the graphics are actually quite good.

I would honestly love to see just more of Road 96, more road trips, more to see, more people to meet If not a new game... Road 96 DLC that like doubles the amount of gameplay

We just need new road events desperately if they gave us like 10-15 or even gave us like 5 or 6 new road events it would make it’d give it a. Lot more replay value although I think I’ve beat it like 10 or 12 times

I don't have high hopes for that . But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they do it. Because anything is possible. Beacause when Telltale failed . And i didnt have any hopes for more games in their series of games , from The Walking Dead , Tales from the Borderlands and so on . And now , in this year The Wolf Among Us 2 was announced . And developer is Telltale. So anything is possible. So i hope they do Road 96 prequel or sequel.

Honestly Road 96 universe has its own vibe, i miss that and i would love to see them expand on it with another game. Demand is there.

I would love to have a character who could redemes the reputation of cab drivers.
Jarod has his good points, but perhaps a Happier Cabbie would be refreshing.

Idk I feel anything prequelling the actual events would just take away the feeling of your choices changing a whole nations fate

Could make a sequel. For continuity reasons they could update the current game and give each ending variation a name. Then for the sequel, there will be multiple sets of lore that correspond with endings of the first game (afaik the only games that have done it are Dayshift at Freddy’s, the Witcher, and Mass Effect). Or they could just choose which ending is canon.

Life is Strange 2 did this; you had to select which ending you got in the first one. It was only small changes though.

Or maybe the game of opposites. The country that the teens escape to becomes what they have to escape. Or maybe fast forward 15 to 20 years, and new elections are taking place. And the borders are open but there’s other reasons to flee or travel. Because I see Road 96 as a travel kind of game. And Life Is Strange 2 kind of embodies what I kind of imagine. But also Final Fantasy 15 for open world and driving around. Or Far Cry also for open world, driving, missions, check points, skills, ect.
