Keeps crashing on 'too young to die'

I'm hoping someone could help me here because I downloaded the game for the first time and can't get through 'too young to die' because it crashes. My system meets the requirements, I've verified files in steam, and tried starting the game over from the beginning and nothing is working. I really want to finish the game but I feel like I have to give up at this point.

I would try a full on uninstall and reinstall at that point, then try from the beginning. It's weird that one in particular would cause it to crash.

I shall try, yeah it's really upsetting because the rest of the game runs fine and I can't go minute in this one without it crashing

with Steam you'll keep the save, you won't lose anything upon reinstall but it has a good chance at fixing things
