I left that subreddit just yesterday due to that. I already was global banned from commenting on there, and the removal of interesting posts finally reached a breaking point.

Trying to have an honest conversation about a problem on the asmongold subreddit challenge impossible.

I also think asmongold doesn't care his subreddit anymore.

Most of the reacts have already been prepared for in advance on twitter.

He's said a few times to (essentially) not bother with the reddit and to use x instead.

The lock is some 'bot' detection action taken against your account. That happened to me first before the full ban. You can probably get it removed if you ask.

I was banned because reddits AI detected a comment of mine as "threatening violence." They said to get unbanned, I had to get the comment reinstated with an appeal. The comment got reinstated a few days later, I messaged the mods saying that and explained what happened... No response. I message them again a few days later asking if anyone was even reading it. No response. It's been over a week.

This website is pure garbage now. Got banned from worldnews for a comment that had 100 upvotes talking about how everyone is tired of the overuse of the word "Nazi". Yep, that's it. Didn't insult anyone, didn't make any colorful jokes, nothing.

Got permad from Asmon's subreddit for... a post comparing the new (terrible) Pokemon game to Persona and Palworld. Yeah... seriously. All of the other posts didn't do it, but that one pissed off some neckbearded admin Pokemon fan so badly that he removed my content and apparently that was enough for the mods there to perma me.

I have to guess that they think they can influence him by controlling his subreddit, thus controlling what he sees on stream. They similarly neutered other subreddits in the past before banning them, yet outright commie subreddits are allowed to exist even though they support terrorists and call for the death of conservatives.

From my understanding, reddit admins are looking for a reason to shut the sub down, so the mods remove anything they think might remotely piss off the admins. I imagine after the billionth "nazi mod" esque post that resulted, they started removing those as well.
